If Brighton best City then we weren't as bad as all that.

Being a West Ham fan must be the equivalent of being bipolar. We’re either getting in the Champions League or we can’t get a point against West Brom and Southampton.

Re: Saturday Football
Manutd paid back for fielding a weakened team. In front of their fans even sweeter tonight. Leicester have an incentive to get 2nd now.

Good team Leeds.

They won’t finish above us stop worrying.

The worse we will finish is 7th.

Great goal there by Cavani

Was reading that Tyrick Mitchell of Palace said that after he scored what ended up being the winner v Villa that it was 'like I blanked out'.

I have never heard that expression before
A similar expression but not that one

COYI - which is one more than Rice if you exclude a penalty..

Re: Saturday Football
The end of that match 100% summed up the contrasting luck WHU and LFC have always enjoyed as football teams.

A goalkeeper scoring a last moment winner to send one into the champions league and put the final nail in the coffin of the other.

That said, they obviously realised the importance of winning. We didn't even look rushed in the last ten minutes of our game with Brighton despite knowing that was it.

And that's with one attempt on goal :-)

Re: Saturday Football
A massive shot in the arm with Everton losing, I refuse to believe we will finish below 7th now. Would prefer EL but will take ELC as it's still Europe, which is progress, trips for our proper fans (not many of the armchair cunts on here) and there is going to be some decent teams in it.

Liverpool were lucky cunts, but anyone who loves football must appreciate the drama of a goalkeeper scoring the wining goal in injury time in a big game, and it 'may' help a little with Leicester wanting something on Tuesday.

Re: Saturday Football
I like Hayes.

Have done since she was interviewed after her team had smashed someone 4-0. She said she was going to give her players a rocket for not winning by more.

Love that attitude. Should be more common throughout football. Especially amongst West Ham managers.

That's cheered me up reading we our one win away from Europe

Re: Saturday Football
If he isn't reffing your team's game, Mike Dean is terrific entertainiment.

Gives a free-kick when a Liverpool player is obstructed. Ignores the fact it wasn't a West Brom player that obstructed the Liverpool player, but Mike Dean...

Re: Saturday Football
The second half of that Chelsea birds match was dreadful. That big old lezzer Hayes might be less cocky for a few weeks.
